Jon Wolfe, the Oklahoma born perennial hit-maker will bring his red-dirt brand of honkytonk country music to Jackson Hole’s Million Dollar Cowboy Bar on Thursday, May 26th to help start the summer in grand Wyoming style. Touring in support of his recently released album, the critical favorite, Dos Corazones, Wolfe’s debut in Jackson Hole will serve to kick-off the third annual Million Dollar Music Fest over Memorial weekend at MDCB.
While so much of the country music industry – and the world – was shut down throughout the pandemic, Wolfe and his creative team rented an adobe house in the Chihuahuan Desert near Terlingua, TX and set about writing the most personal record of his storied career. The result, Dos Corazones, has spawned his latest single “Tequila Sundown.”
Over the last decade, the prolific songwriter has released five highly acclaimed albums that garnered him eight consecutive #1 Singles on Billboard’s Texas Radio Chart, and twelve consecutive Top Tens. Fan favorites include “Feels Like Country Music,” “Boots on a Dance Floor,” “I Don’t Dance,” and “Any Night in Texas,” which reached #3 on the iTunes Country Chart and #15 on Billboard’s Country Chart. All of Wolfe’s music maintains his fine balance of traditional roots country with edgy, contemporary swagger.
The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, established in 1937, is widely regarded as a national treasure and is regularly named one of the top honky-tonks in the country. The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar is committed to continuing its rich tradition of hosting the most iconic names in country music. #saddleup
