THE COWBOY BAR ANNOUNCES AN EVENING WITH IAN MUNSICK
November 18, 2024TICKETS GO ON SALE TO PUBLIC WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 20 AT 10AM MOUNTAIN TIME
Wyoming Native To Bring His Ski Tour ‘24 to Jackson Hole on Sunday Dec 15th
JACKSON, WY – On Sunday, December 15, Wyoming’s favorite son, Ian Munsick, will make a triumphant return to The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar for an encore performance at the world famous honkytonk. With over 775 million global streams, Munsick is one of country music’s fastest rising stars. Fresh off his own headlining Country and WESTern Tour, along with a run of support dates with Lainey Wilson, this show at The Cowboy Bar will be a special acoustic duo performance, featuring his long-standing fiddler, Tim Hayes.
Celebrated by HITS Daily Double and The New Yorker alike for putting the “western back in country,” Munsick is known for painting stampeding, spirited portraits of the American West with his plain spoken and honest songwriting. Munsick has been named an “artist to watch” by Spotify, CMT, Fender, Music Row and more. Most recently, Munsick released his sobering new song, “Fixin’ Me,” detailing the toxic push-and-pull that often results from relationships started at bars (as is so common in Nashville), as one person tries to fix bad habits while the other remains complacent. His previous single, “Long Live Cowgirls” (with Cody Johnson), from his album White Buffalo, hit No. 1 on SiriusXM’s The Highway Hot 30 Countdown and was named one of Amazon Music’s Best County Songs of 2022. The track recently received RIAA Gold-certification alongside “Long Haul” from his debut album Coyote Cry and fan-favorite “Horses Are Faster.” The music video for the hit single features stunning images of the Jackson Hole valley creating a fresh mood around mountain country music.
It was just one year ago, after a quick sell-out, that Munsick wowed Cowboy Bar patrons in his debut appearance. In response, talent buyer Justin Smith said, “This was, hands down, one of the best performances of our many, awesome ticketed headline shows. We’re very excited to bring him back again.”
General Admission tickets will be $95. A limited number of reserved tables will be available for $295 - $395 per seat. The dance floor will be open to all ticket holders. Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, Nov 20 at 10am (MT) and may be purchased online at cowboybarjh.com. Doors will open at 6:30pm, with the show starting at 8pm.
The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, soon to enter its 90th year, is widely regarded as a national treasure and is regularly named one of the top honkytonks in the country. The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar is dedicated to its value and significance as an iconic live music venue in America, by presenting the most iconic names in country music. #saddleup.
